The duo Volco & Gignoli was formed in 2012 in Paris by two Argentinian composers: Sebastian Volco (piano) and Pablo Gignoli (bandoneon). Its original style is the result of an encounter of two different music worlds: progressive rock and jazz fusion (Volco) and modern tango (Gignoli). The duo performs their own compositions and original arrangements of famous tango, rock and jazz songs. 

 

The duo also performs as part of the modern electro tango orchestra Plaza Francia together with the founders of Gotan Project Eduardo Makaroff and Christophe Muller.
